The 6th Annual 9/11 Bridge Walk in Surf City, NC, is scheduled for Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Soundside Park (517 Roland Ave.). The event will begin with participants meeting at 8:00 a.m., with the walk across the Surf City Bridge and back commencing at 8:46 a.m. This community event, organized by the Surf City Fire Department, honors the lives lost on 9/11 and celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of unity.
