Surf City Firefighter's Auxiliary Annual Boater's Poker Run Fundraiser Always held the last Saturday in September, the Surf City Firefighter's Auxiliary Annual Boater's Poker Run is one of the most exciting and unique fundraising events on the water! This fun-filled day is perfect for boating enthusiasts and supporters of our local fire department alike. Participants will launch their adventure by picking up their first poker card when they check in (where they will also receive their limited edition event t-shirt, event flag, and a Yeti bucket filled with awesome goodies and swag donated by our sponsors). From there, it's off to explore the Intracoastal Waterway and heading to four designated water stops -- only accessible by boat -- where they will collect 4 additional poker cards. At the end of the day, the best poker hand wins! No poker experience is necessary -- cards are drawn randomly -- making this the perfect way to enjoy a day on the water while supporting a great cause. JOIN US FOR A DAY OF BOATING, CAMARADERIE, AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT IN SUPPORT OF THE SURF CITY FIREFIGHTERS!! Registration for the 2025 6th Annual Poker Run is OPEN NOW! You may also register the night before or the morning of the event, if space is available. Event Registration completely SOLD OUT in 2024 so get yours while you can. The Poker Run is always the last Saturday in September.
