🌼 Save the Date!

🌼 Did you know that 1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat depends on pollinators like bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, flies, and even hummingbirds? These tiny heroes keep our gardens blooming and our food growing! 🐝

🦋 Join us at the Greater Topsail Community Garden on Friday, August 21 for the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census, a fun community science event taking place across North Carolina and the Southeast! 🕘

Choose one of our guided counting sessions:

• 9:30 a.m.

• 11:00 a.m.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bring the kids! Children of all ages are encouraged to attend with a parent or guardian. No experience is needed. We'll teach you everything you need to know before spending just 15 minutes counting the amazing pollinators that visit our flowers.

🌻 We're also excited to welcome the Pender County Master Gardener Association, who will host an "Ask a Master Gardener" table where you can get answers to your gardening questions and learn more about gardening in our coastal community.

📅 Mark your calendar now! More details and reminders will be coming as we get closer to the event.
