Begin the Conversation Workshop

Description

Begin the Conversation, a program by Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, is a discussion to help understand healthcare choices, talk about decisions with loved ones and doctors, and put plans in writing. This session will explain the use of Advance Directives (Living Wills and Healthcare Power of Attorney forms) to legally express choices as well as provide free notary services and other resources, if needed. It is recommended these documents should be updated every two to three years and newer residents in North Carolina should have documents in North Carolina. This is a free program that Lower Cape Fear LifeCare provides. Attendees are encouraged to bring their loved ones.
