Funky Fins marine science programs focus on hands-on learning and interaction within the Topsail Island ecosystem, providing ocean explorers of all ages with a fun and pivotal, one-of-a-kind experience.

Our programs are taught by local marine biologists providing a solid and multi-faceted understanding of the ocean environment around us. Our adventures include local history, invertebrate collections,  identification, marine organism scavenger hunts, paddling trips, and more.
