Wednesday, June 17, 2026 (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
Based on local ecosystem realities and recent discussions with the Small Business Center, this workshop focuses on business resilience as a survival strategy. It reframes sustainability as operational efficiency and profit protection, helping Wilmington-area businesses cut waste, manage risk, and remain viable through economic, environmental, and supply-chain disruptions. Rather than focusing on theory or compliance, the session emphasizes practical, immediately actionable steps that small business owners can implement with limited time and resources. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to: - Identify 3–5 hidden cost drains in energy, waste, or labor that can be reduced within 30 days. - Build a basic continuity plan for weather events, supplier disruptions, or staffing shortages. - Improve employee retention and morale through practical efficiency and values-aligned operational practices Instructor: Vicente (Vinny) Escriva, Strategic Management Consultant Register Here: https://www.ncsbc.net/workshop.aspx?ekey=80460105
