Pender County Parks and Recreation and Pender County Schools are pleased to invite you to a Special Olympics Partnership Meeting to explore opportunities to collaborate, support, and celebrate the incredible athletes and programs of the Special Olympics in our community on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Heide Trask High School Media Center. The gathering will bring together community members, business leaders, elected officials, and other key stakeholders to discuss how we can partner with and enhance the mission of Special Olympics locally. Your voice and support are vital to hosting a Special Olympics spring game in Pender County in Spring 2026 and beyond. If you are interested in volunteering, sponsoring, hosting fundraising events, or simply learning more, we welcome your participation.
