We are searching for an enthusiastic individual to be a part of our dynamic team, for a full time, year-round position. At Access Realty, we've been setting the standard in vacation rental houses for over 20 years and now we are looking for a dedicated individual to help us maintain our exceptional homeowners' investment properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the properties we represent remain in top-notch condition. From troubleshooting to repairs, you'll be the hero that keeps everything running smoothly.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of valuable experience in general maintenance.

- Attention to detail, follow-up, follow through and talent for problem solving.

- Basic carpentry skills that showcase your craftsmanship.

- Professionalism with guests, owners, and other vendors at ALL times in all forms of communication.

- A valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

- Thriving in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.

- Keeping sensitive information confidential is second nature to you.

- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.

- No heavy lifting or stair climbing? Not for you! You can handle 50+ pounds with ease.

- Tight spaces and extreme weather conditions? You're up for the challenge.

Additional Job Details:

- Physical and mental demands? Check! You've got the hearing, speaking, and physical stamina required. This includes hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching, bending, climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

- Tools and equipment? No problem! We provide you with all items necessary to get the job done, including a company van! You will need a valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.

- Work Environment? From outside weather conditions to tight spaces, stairs and ladders, you thrive in all situations. Expect exposure to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of stairs inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.

Salary Range & Benefits:

- $15-27 an hour - Your pay will reflect your experience and skills, determined by our Maintenance Manager.

- Health Insurance available after 90 days of employment
