Hampstead  – On New Year’s Day, hundreds of brave individuals will jump into the refreshing waters of the Atlantic Ocean, as the annual Dolphin Dip celebration begins. Share the Table has been hosting this popular event since 2018 and is offering a very special VIP experience for January 1, 2025.

The VIP Dolphin Dip Experience includes parking at the Surf City Welcome Center (up to 6 people per car), access to the warm welcome center with bathrooms, refreshments provided by Shuckin’ Shack and Share the Table, and one swag bag per car. Tickets, which go on sale via Eventbrite on December 15, are $200 per car and all proceeds go to Share the Table. There are only 18 spots available for this unique experience and it is expected to sell out quickly.

Dolphin Dip continues to be a free event and all are invited to don their favorite costumes, swimsuits, or sweatpants (depending on the weather) and enjoy the festivities to ring in the new year. Creative costumes are encouraged, as there is a costume contest for adults, groups, and youth as well.

Founded in 2010, Share the Table is a 501(3)c non-profit charity organization serving individuals in Pender County, Onslow County, and surrounding communities. The organization’s mission is to respond to God’s call to nourish the community by providing food where there is hunger, a fellowship where there is loneliness, and education to end the cycle of food insecurity.
