SURF CITY – In partnership with the Small Business Center at Cape Fear Community College, the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite all business owners to the July 9 Lunch and Learn session, Maximize Social Media for Your Business.

“Thanks to the Small Business Center, the workshop is free,” said Executive Director Tammy Proctor. 

This course is designed to help small business owners put the pieces together.

“If you have a disjointed strategy or no strategy at all, this course will help you navigate your current marketing plan and enhance it with proven social media strategies,” said Derek Schmidt, owner of Design Loud and instructor for this workshop.

This hands-on workshop will enable attendees to do the following:

• Find targeted content that they can share with their audience

• Connect all their social media outlet to maximize reach

The free workshop will take place at the CFCC Surf City Campus, 621 NC Hwy 210 E. The class will begin at 11:30 a.m. and finish by 1:30 p.m.

A $10 boxed lunch is available by contacting the chamber at director@topsailochamber.org by noon on July 10. The boxed lunch includes a sub sandwich, chips, cookies, and a drink. Attendees may pay cash or credit card at the door. Attendees may bring a bag lunch.
