Megabella Treasures to Open Under New Name and Location

Megabella Treasures was named after Cheryl and Ralph Martuscello’s daughters Megan and Isabella born on the same day April 28th 13 years apart. The company is growing, and Ralph will open Bella Luna Treasures Home Decor at a new location, 111 Sea Oaks Drive Unit B in Surf City by Gilligans.

The new store will feature locally produced items found exclusively in Surf City.

“After 3 years, we quickly outgrew the smallest store on the island at 300 sq ft.,” said Cheryl. “Our new location is 1500 sq ft and we are very excited to be able to feature many more local artisans, craftspeople, and authors.”

“We expect to open Bella Luna Treasures Home Decor in mid-March, and we are excited to be within walking distance of Coral Cottage, Mia’s Marketplace, and Carolina Décor,” added Ralph. “Bella Luna Treasures Home Decor will be a unique boutique offering items not sold anywhere else in Surf City, one-of-a-kind gifts for you or your loved ones.”

Shona McCue is the lead problem solver at Bella Luna Treasures and owner of Your Cardian Angel. Your Cardian Angel is a specialized line of greeting cards that you need to see to believe. One of the boutique’s most popular artists, Miss Kay’s Creations, will have an expanded section featuring garden decor, one-of-a-kind stained glass, and resin artwork.

“Another carryover from Megabella Treasures are religious artifacts from Kateri Tekakwitha National Shrine in my hometown of Fonda, New York,” said Ralph. “Kateri is the first Native American Saint, and we have medals, relics, and of course, the Spring Water with its spiritual powers.”

Cheryl will continue to run Megabella Treasures as an e-commerce business with Amazon and Walmart as she has been doing for 20 years. Online shoppers can peruse at www.megabellatreasures.com.

In case you are wondering where the new name comes from, Luna is Isabella’s Chocolate Lab and Bella Luna is Italian for beautiful moon.

“So, find us, now on the mainland and a little bit off the beaten path but worth the trip,” said Ralph.
