The Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is teaming up with Get-A-Clue Productions, Outback Steakhouse, and Share the Table for a murder mystery dinner theatre on Feb. 8, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale today.

“We are pleased to partner with Get-A-Clue Productions which will perform an interactive, original script for our event,” said Tammy Proctor, the Chamber’s director.

The plot is set in 1975. All ticket holders are participants in the 20-year reunion of the Class of 1955. Poodle skirts are out. Disco is in. The audience is having a groovy time while they enjoy dinner from Outback Steakhouse until someone mentions the mystery of the murdered prom queen. Guests in Flashback to Murder are encouraged to wear their best leisure suits and bell-bottom pantsuits.

Share the Table will host Flashback to Murder at their new facility located at 21 Perkins Dr. in Hampstead.

Murder mystery dinner theatre guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to restock Share the Table’s food pantry. Much-needed items include peanut butter and breakfast cereals.

“We are thrilled Outback Steakhouse is joining us in our first murder mystery dinner theatre,” said Proctor. “The Outback staff has been excellent to work with and will prepare a steak, chicken, baked potato, Caesar salad, and bread buffet.”  

Tickets for the theatre and dinner are $80 per person. Tickets, which are limited to 96 guests, are available online at topsailchamber.org/events. Click on Feb. 8, 2025, on the events calendar to purchase tickets. 

“These tickets will make fun and memorable Christmas gifts,” added Proctor.
