SURF CITY – People do business with people they know. It sounds simple, but making connections can be challenging, especially for small business owners who devote much time to the office.

On Sept. 19, the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism will host its second Coastal Connections, a networking opportunity for the business community.

Sea Witch Lounge, located at 13775 NC Hwy 50, Suite 103, will host the Sept. 19 event from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

“Our first Coastal Connections, was a tremendous success,” said Executive Director Tammy Proctor. “We look forward to another networking event.”

Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism’s Coastal Connections events have a casual atmosphere. Bring business cards and meet business owners from Scotts Hill to Sneads Ferry and beyond.

“I can’t refer your business if I don’t know the services you provide,” said Proctor. “Coastal Connections is an opportunity to learn more about our businesses.”

“You do not have to be a chamber member to attend. There’s no pressure to join, but we hope visiting businesses will see the value in the many benefits the chamber offers,” added Proctor.
