Topsail Chamber to Host a Pender County Commissioner Candidates’ Night
HAMPSTEAD — Voters in Pender County will head to the polls for the March 3, 2026, Primary and ultimately to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, to elect four county commissioners.
To help inform voters, the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism will host a Candidates’ Night, offering residents the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking public office in Pender County.
The Candidates Night for Pender County Commissioner applicants is set for Jan. 29, beginning promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the Pender County Government Annex, 15060 US Hwy. 17 in Hampstead.
“The Chamber doesn’t endorse candidates,” said Tammy Proctor, Director of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism. “As representatives of the business community, we work with all elected officials to support our region.”
The forum begins promptly at 6:30 p.m., and is expected to conclude by 8:30 p.m.
“Our format is simple and fair,” added Proctor. “Each candidate will be introduced and given equal time to respond to written questions from the public.”
Please contact the Chamber for more information at 910-329-4446.
